Ankh introduces the audience to the lifelong partner (Luc Verlinden) and shows his hopeful Egyptian treasure-hunting adventure to find his deceased husband Patrick Knight (as himself) and accidentally brings him back to life. During his resurrection, the viewer is taken down memory lane on a cruise down the Nile that ends in Cairo, where a complete transformation into Queen Nefertiti’s look-alike is accomplished. Ofra Haza, the Madonna of the East follows them closely and helps them in their search for the key to life, Ankh, the afterlife. Ankh is a travelogue through ancient Egypt and makes the beautiful soundtrack (music by Gravity Noir) come to life. Ankh has won more than 30 international film awards and is well received by the LGBTQ+ community.

Beat Keepers: The Next Chapter is an empowering documentary that follows a group of inspiring female drummers — many of them breast cancer survivors — as they gather in Dallas, Texas, to share their stories, support one another, and break barriers in a male-dominated music world. Blending rhythm, resilience, and sisterhood, the film captures their powerful bond, the healing power of music, and the joy of finding your beat — no matter what life throws your way.

With 8 international festival awards, Beat Keepers is a celebration of women who drum to their own rhythm — together.

Exhausted by his work and the routine, a person decides to suddenly break his daily life and wander in unknown places, in which he gradually sinks and gets lost.

With a protagonist never appearing on screen, the film relies on a minimalist, unsettling and contemplative aesthetic. It features immersive, ominous, mysterious sound design and invites to multiple interpretations. The atmosphere becomes increasingly oppressive, immersing the viewer in a pervasive sense of tension, a visual and existential unease. “Essai 21” can be likened to a hypnotic, introspective and unsettling experience.

Ethnic Kitchen is a documentary about five women—an American, a Uruguayan, a Chechen, a Jamaican, and a Roma—that immigrated to post-Soviet independent Lithuania for very different reasons, but with the same goal: to build a home away from home. At first glance, their life stories seem unbelievable, but a closer look reveals that it is something that could happen to any of us. Ethnic Kitchen is not just a movie, it is an invitation to reflect on the things that make us feel like outsiders. It is also an encouragement to extend a helping hand to those around us having trouble fitting in.

Finding Bobbi tells the story of actor Bobbi Charlton’s long, courageous journey through gender dysphoria. After half a life in the wrong body, Bobbi transitioned at the age of 53. This transgender woman’s incredible story is funny, heartbreaking and ultimately life-affirming. It chronicles her experiences as a child, adolescent and adult struggling to understand and express who she really was at a time when there was no real acceptance of transgender people in mainstream culture. The film follows her return to the stage after a twenty-three-year absence, playing Aunt Eller in a gender-bending production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic Oklahoma! at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Forest stories — research film about how contact with the forest can affect one’s sense of self and quality of life. It covers the stories of 10 very different people: digital nomads, spiritual practitioners, shamans and scientists. All the collaborators underwent an inevitable transformation at some point in their lives where they realized that the forest is a full-fledged living organism and it’s crucial to build relationships with it. Events from childhood, creative interests, work tasks, intuition and destiny signs led them to a genuine contact with the forest and a new worldview. Forest stories conveys the state of interconnectivity and unity of all life on earth.

The filming took around a year in locations in Russia, Belarus and Turkey. The film tells the stories of 10 amazing people: IT entrepreneurs, spiritual guides, scientists and researchers.

We invited Ekaterina Piltenko, the director of the film Freedom and the 1st episode of the documentary series 50/50 (Power of the Wind episode), to take on the role of editing director.
